ZigBee is a small, low powered device that can transfer data over a long distance. Mesh network is created to reach more distant through intermediate devices. It was developed by the ZigBee Alliance under the International Standard IEEE 802.15.4. It can transmit data at a physical range of 10 to 20 meters approximately.
